Three Trails Work Party August 23, 2014

The NORA crew teamed up with Scott McNew and his sidekick from the BLM to put up post and pole "fencing" at a new campground/staging area for the Three Trails OHV area (South of Crescent near the Hwy 58/97 junction).  This particular campground is new and located at the 5825 road off of Hwy 59 just a stones throw NW of Mowich.

Work Party August 23

The NORA crew has a BLM work party planned for August 23 near Crescent. (Junction of HWY 97/58.) Come on out a build a little fence. Hang around and go for a ride afterwards. There may even be campfire meeting on Friday and/or Saturday night.

After a strong desert rainstorm overnight a hearty troop of OMRA racers and visitors lined up to attack a 50 mile desert loop (twice for most of the field) laid out by DM3 and the NORA crew.

The dust free conditions for the second year in a row made for great racing and passing conditions and the competition was intense. Joe Herriman and Steffan Bolin literally slid across the line in a battle for 2nd overall (with Devan Bolin already finished 1st, shaved and showered ....well maybe not, but he won by 10+ minutes).
